to improve your school’s academic performance.
“Anytime someone doesn’t have all the facts about the program,
it’s less likely for it to be successful,”
says Ponce,
Director of Federal and State Categorical Programs for the Whittier School
District.
“We need to
fully understand the program to support and make it work at our schools.”
Ponce should know: For the past seven years, he has brought together Whittier
principals,
faculty and
administrators to install Puente in nearly half of the district
schools, serving nearly 300 students.
